Google Analytics

As part of their "Analytics" service, a cookie is placed on our sites by the U.S. company Google. We use this service to track usage and receive reports about how visitors use the website. Google may transfer this information to third parties if legally obliged to, or this information may be processed by third parties on Google's behalf. We have no control over this process. We have consented to Google Analytics using the information obtained for other Google services. The information collected by Google is made anonymous as much as possible. Your IP address is not explicitly revealed. The information is transmitted to Google and stored on their servers in the United States. Google has agreed to adhere to the Safe Harbor principles and is registered with the Safe Harbor programme of the U.S. Department of Commerce. This means that there is an adequate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.

Why does 3D-PharmXchange not ask for consent to use cookies?

Currently, 3D-PharmXchange does not ask you to opt in for non-functional cookies, even though such permission may be required by law. This is something we are aware of. However, the impact of such agreement on our users is not limited. Moreover, it is not clear, for example, as to how to deal with cookies with third-party information and those placed on our website, and how many non-Dutch entities adhere to the law. 3D-PharmXchange is following market developments closely to this end and will take further action as soon as is necessary and appropriate.
