We are looking for a Business Development Manager who can drive our business forward and help achieve our ambitious goals. The ideal candidate is energetic, a team player, a self-starter, and is seeking an environment where drug development is at the heart of everything we do. You must genuinely enjoy engaging with clients on the full spectrum of drug development understanding their challenges and goals. You will be the first point of contact for our (new) clients and will coordinate and interact closely with various team members to match client needs with our expertise. In this role, you will report directly to our Director of Business & Operations.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage and grow relationships with existing clients
• Identify and approach potential new clients
• Collaborate with consultants to refine and align client needs with our expertise
• Prepare, negotiate, and finalize contracts
• Create presentations for prospective clients together with our experts
• Initiate, lead, and drive follow-up actions for business development activities
• Support website content and social media presence
• Build and maintain a strong network within the pharmaceutical and biotech industries
• Identify and attend relevant industry conferences

Requirements

• Academic working and thinking level; Master’s degree in Life Sciences preferred
• A minimum of 5 years commercial work experience in pharmaceutical and/or life science industry
• Proficient in working with business development software, e.g. Hubspot
• Strong communication, relationships management and sales skills
• Fluent in English and Dutch
• Willingness to travel
