Empowering Dutch Biotech: Navigating Innovation and Market Success with the Dutch Regional Development Agencies on November 21, 2024
Ronald van der Geest, partner at 3D-PharmXchange, has been invited to attend the Life Sciences & Health ROMs Day, to advise the regional investment agencies on how to become even more effective in bringing Dutch Biotech ventures to the market, by expanding their Clinical and Regulatory knowledge. During an interactive session, the ROMs aim to identify common bottlenecks that they run into during their daily work. Next to this they plan to work on solutions for these bottlenecks in break-out teams and will pitch these solutions back to the group.
The Regional Development Agencies of the Netherlands (In Dutch: Regionale Ontwikkelings Maatschappijen, ROMs) play a pivotal role in driving innovation and economic growth across various sectors, including Life Sciences & Health (LSH). They actively support regional enterprises by providing essential resources, networks, and strategic advice to enhance their capacity for innovation, attract investment, and achieve international success. Through initiatives that bridge the gap between local knowledge and global markets, the ROMs help Dutch biotech companies, from start-ups to scale-ups, navigate complex developmental stages and regulatory landscapes. This collaboration enables these ventures to bring new, impactful health solutions to the market efficiently.
