3D-PharmXchange is proud to be a partner in the BRECISE project (Biomarker Research and Evaluation for Clinical Implementation and Supporting Systems Enhancement), a five-year initiative co-funded by the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) under Horizon Europe. The project brings together more than 30 public and private organizations across Europe with the shared goal of accelerating the clinical validation and integration of novel biomarkers for prostate and bladder cancer. BRECISE aims to improve diagnosis, optimal treatment selection, and disease monitoring by advancing biomarker-driven approaches in oncology.

The BRECISE project is focused on translating promising biomarkers from the laboratory into clinical use. These biomarkers will serve as tools for patient risk stratification, disease progression prediction, and treatment response assessment. 3D-PharmXchange plays a key role in supporting the consortium’s engagement with regulatory agencies and in designing a validation strategy that generates sufficient evidence that a biomarker is predictive of disease progression or treatment outcome.

As part of the project, 3D-PharmXchange contributes to multiple work packages, including regulatory strategy development, compliance monitoring, and ethics oversight. Our team also supports dissemination, stakeholder engagement, and capacity-building activities. These efforts help to maximize the likelihood that validated biomarkers will gain regulatory approval and be successfully implemented in healthcare settings.
